This piece is based on an old photograph from Matson

(G. Eric and Edith)’s Photograph Collection of the early years of the 20th century. The photograph presents a typical daily scene from the marketplace, which used to be right on the clock tower’s square. This piece was painted in today’s Jaffa Flea Market Center.​​
